Qin Wang

Dr. Qin Wang is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006, his Master's degree from South China University of Technology in 2009, and his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 2013. Before joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he worked for over 10 years in power grid companies, laboratories, and research institutes in the United States, including the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) of the U.S. Department of Energy, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and General Motors. His research areas include power system security and reliability, integration of renewable energy, smart distribution systems, transactive energy, electric vehicle V2X, virtual power plants, and electricity markets. He currently serves as an editor for four academic journals, including IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Energy Markets, Policy and Regulation, Journal of Energy Engineering and IET Energy Conversion and Economics.

Tao Chen is currently an Associate Professor in School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, China. His research interests are about power energy system and Artificial Intelligence applications. He worked as Postdoctoral Associate in Advanced Research Institute, Virginia Tech, Washington D.C., USA, 2018-2019 and Engineer in GEIRINA, California, USA, 2017-2018.He received MSc and PhD form Tampere University of Technology, Finland, and University of Michigan, USA, respectively. Hereceived the Best Paper Award for IEEE ISGT-Asia 2019, IEEE iSPEC 2021, IEEE CIEEC 2022. He was a guest editor for IET Renewable Power Generation, Engineering Reports, Frontiers in Energy Research and many other journals. He has (co)authored more than 100 publications and PI for 20+ R&D projects.

Kaishun Xiahou is an Associate Professor at School of Electric Power Engineering, South China University of Technology. His research interests include cyber-physical security and resilient control of power systems with renewable energy. Dr. Xiahou is the principal investigator of young elite scientist sponsorship program by Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Guangdong/Guangzhou Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation. He has published more than 30 SCI papers and he is the young editor of Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems, and Electric Power Information and Communication Technology.

Ping He   

Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, China

Ping He is a Professor and Dean of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. She is arecipient of the Central Plains Leading Talent Award of Henan Province, an Academic and Technical Leader of the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and a Young Core Teacher of Henan Universities. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and serves as Vice Chair of Henan Electrotechnical Society and Deputy Secretary-General of Henan Society of Electrical Engineering. Her research focuses on stability analysis and control of renewable energy power systems. She has led more than 20 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General and Youth Programs) and provincial/ministerial programs, published over 80 high-level journal papers, and been granted 20 national invention patents. She has won two Second Prizes of Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award as the principal investigator.

Zhenzhi Lin

Zhenzhi Lin is a professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. He has published over 100 SCI-indexed papers. He was Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Power Engineering Letters, Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (MPCE), Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems (PCMP), Automation of Electric Power Systems (in Chinese), and Subject Editor of IET Energy Conversion and Economics. He was a Research Assisstant in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2007 to 2008, a Research Scholar in the Min Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee from 2010 to 2011, and a Reseach Associate in School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Durham University from 2013 to 2014. His research interests include Big Data Mining of Power Systems and Artificial Intelligence Applications, Power System Situational Awareness, Power System Restoration, Planning and Operation of Power and Integrated Energy Systems.

Yulin Chen   

Hainan Institute of Zhejiang University, China

Dr. Yulin Chen is an Associate Research Fellow with Hainan Institute of Zhejiang University, Sanya, China. He received the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2021. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 journal papers, and 10 issued patents. He was served as the Representative of CIGRE WG D2.56. Besides, He is the Young Editorial Board Member of high-level journals, including Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems (PCMP), Power System Protection and Control, Energy Conversion and Economics(ECE), Distribution & Utilization, Power Generation Technology, Electric Power Engineering Technology, etc. He got the Best Paper Award of IEEE EI2 2023, Best Paper Award of SPIES 2022, Young Scientist Award of ICPIES 2025, Outstanding Young Editorial Board Member of PCMP (in 2025), Power System Protection and Control (in 2024 & 2025). His research interests include self optimal control of active distribution network, cyber-physical security of cyber-physical power system, survivability of power system under extreme conditions.
