2026 5th International Conference on Smart Grid and Green Energy (ICSGGE 2026) has concluded successfully!
The 5th International Conference on Smart Grid and Green Energy (ICSGGE 2026) was successfully held in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, from March 20 to 22, 2026. The conference was sponsored by IEEE Power & Energy Society,Hainan Institute of Zhejiang University, China, and Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, and supported by UNSW Sydney, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Sanya Global Energy Research Institute,AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center, the Editorial Office of《Energy Conversion and Economics》and Editorial Office of《Smart Power & Energy Security》

The conference officially commenced on the morning of March 21. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Ping He, Co-Chair of the Conference and Dean of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. Professor FushuanWen, Chair of the Conference from Zhejiang University, delivered the welcome address. He emphasized that the selection of Dongfang City as the venue holds special significance — not only is it renowned as the "Hometown of Hainan Huanghuali Rosewood," but it also serves as a pioneering demonstration zone for national green energy initiatives, having achieved remarkable progress in high-penetration wind and solar power integration. This provided an ideal setting for in-depth discussions on smart grids and green energy. On behalf of the organizing committee, Professor Wen extended a warm welcome to participants from around the world and expressed sincere gratitude to all organizing institutions and staff members.
